I'm the founder and CEO of Sona, and a mom of two.

I spent more than a decade in the ultrasound world, working closely with sonographers, ObGyns, and office teams. In that time, I saw firsthand how much families cherish their ultrasound moments, but also how outdated and limited the experience had become. Even as technology advanced, most parents were still leaving appointments with just a thermal printout that fades over time. No video. Nothing to easily share. And nothing that truly captured the magic of the moment.

When I went through pregnancy myself, it hit even harder. You fall in love with every little heartbeat, every image — and you want to hold onto it, share it, relive it. That’s when I knew something had to change.

I started Sona to give families a better way to experience and preserve those early memories — and to give providers a simple, secure way to deliver them, right from the machine to the patient’s phone.

Sona was built to make this moment more meaningful for everyone:  parents, providers, and the people who love them.
