David P. Cernicek, RVT, RDMS is a diagnostic medical ultrasound specialist, educator, author, consultant, and industry advisor with more than 45 years of experience in medical imaging. His career has included clinical practice, education, product development, leadership, and consulting across a broad range of ultrasound specialties, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, emergency medicine, musculoskeletal imaging, thyroid imaging, breast ultrasound, urology, pelvic floor imaging, and ultrasound-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures.
A former ultrasound industry executive and current Medical Advisor to EndoCure, David is a recognized advocate for sonographer safety, workforce sustainability, and career longevity. He is a frequent speaker and podcast guest whose perspectives on emerging ultrasound technologies and workforce challenges have been featured in industry publications and national media, including a recent Forbes article discussing ultrasound innovation and automation.
David is the author of What Hurts? a book examining the physical toll of sonography and the importance of protecting the profession's future. His presentations combine decades of clinicaland industry experience with practical strategies that help sonographers reduce injury risk, extend career longevity, and continue providing exceptional patient care.

A Legacy of Excellence in Ultrasound Education
Lynn Flamm, is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with over three decades of
clinical experience. Most of that time has been exclusively in OB/Gyn ultrasound. She also has
a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management. Since earning her ARDMS
credentials in 1992, Lynn has dedicated her career to excellence in ultrasound practice,
physician collaboration, and advancing sonographer education.
She currently serves as the Chief Sonographer in a rural Southern Illinois Women’s Health
Clinic. She has held multiple leadership roles across corporate and private OB/GYN practices.
Lynn is also an experienced clinical instructor, having supervised and mentored ultrasound
students since 1998.
As the Founder, and CEO of Sono Techniques Academy, Lynn developed a comprehensive
OB/GYN ultrasound training platform designed to elevate sonographer proficiency and support
providers in clinical practice. The Academy offers structured learning modules, voice-guided
instruction, registry review content, and AIUM-driven education through a mobile and
web-based app.
Lynn has achieved AIUM accreditations for multiple OB/GYN offices, developed ultrasound
department policies and procedures, and maintained active CME engagement and RDMS
status for over 33 years. Her mission is to give back to the profession by improving ultrasound education, strengthening
clinical standards, and supporting the next generation of sonographers and providers
